How to follow the Sixth Meeting of the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development

The Sixth Meeting of the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development will be held in Santiago, Chile, from April 25 to 28, 2023 under the Presidency of Argentina. The objective of the meeting is to analyze the progress in the regional implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

It will be attended by high authorities, including Santiago Cafiero, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship of Argentina, the country that holds the presidency of ECLAC for the 2022-2024 biennium; Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations; Paula Narváez, Permanent Representative of Chile to the United Nations, in her capacity as Vice President of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, and José Manuel Salazar-Xirinachs, Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).

Senior representatives of the governments of the 33 countries of the region, agencies, funds and programs of the United Nations system, international financial institutions and development banks, regional and subregional integration organizations, civil society, the world will participate. parliamentarians, academia and the private sector, both from the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean and from other regions of the world. In total, more than 1,000 attendees are already confirmed.
