Producer reveals estimated duration of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl
During an interview for The GamerSlava Lukyanenka, producer of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl revealed the estimated duration that this title will have, which will be available on day 1 on Xbox Game PassAccording to the creative, “it will take you 25 to 40 hours to finish the game. I don’t know the exact number, because we all play differently, but the world is huge. It’s 64 square kilometers.”
Later, Zakhar Bocharov, PR manager, spoke about the relationship between GSC Game World and Microsoft. In this regard, the manager assured that the Xbox company had an unexpected approach because they are not the publishers of the game, but ultimately their support was a cornerstone to move the project forward. Let us remember that the study and development of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl were impacted by the war between Russia and Ukraine.
In this regard, Bocharov said: “I never expected a corporation of this size to be so supportive. I cannot say the exact cases, but they helped in situations where they were not supposed to. They could easily have said that it was not up to them, wished us luck and left us alone, but that was not the case.”
The director later revealed that Phil Spencer was keeping an eye on the game’s development and the conditions at GSC at all times. He pointed out that the director of Microsoft Gaming was “very supportive and caring” with the creatives who were having a hard time and assured “that is the professional connection that we value very much, because without them it would have been very different.”
