Houthis say they attacked an Israeli Army base in Tel Aviv with missiles

MADRID 22 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Houthis claimed responsibility this Tuesday for an attack with ballistic missiles against an Israeli Army base in the Jaffa area, in the Tel Aviv district, located in the west of the country, a measure that is part of the attacks carried out by the Yemeni rebels “in solidarity” with the Hezbollah party-militia and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in Gaza.

Although at the moment the Israeli Army has not confirmed or denied the launch, the Houthis have spoken of this attack, carried out to defend the Palestinian and Lebanese people and their capacity for “resistance”, as indicated by the spokesman for the Houthis, Yahya Sari, in a statement.

“We have carried out a specific military operation targeting a military base belonging to the Israeli occupation army near Jaffa. For this, we have used ‘Palestine 2’ hypersonic ballistic missiles,” Sari explained.

In this sense, he pointed out that the missiles have hit the enemy target “successfully” and have surpassed the American and Israeli interception systems. “This operation has been carried out within the framework of the fifth round of clashes in the fight for sacred jihad and in support of the Flood al Aqsa operation,” he explained.

“We confirm that we will continue to carry out this type of operations against the Israeli enemy until the aggression and siege of the Gaza Strip and Lebanon stop,” he concluded.
