One of the most anticipated games of the year has already arrived on PS5, Xbox Series X and PC consoles: Hogwarts Legacy. This title is based on the books by JK Rowling, but the events that we will experience take place many years before Harry Potter.
For this reason, we don’t see Voldemort or Harry’s parents, nor the Weasleys. But this has not been an impediment for players to create their own stories in this fantastic world.
What happens if I name myself ‘Harry Potter’?
As you can guess, nothing happens if you take the name of a character from the books, like Harry Potter. It will not change your character’s appearance, dialogue, or unlock an achievement on Steam.
However, it is a great opportunity to ‘role’ if you are a lover of the Harry Potter books. Maybe you can use the name of a minor character like Neville Longbottom.
How long will it take me to complete Hogwarts Legacy?
Normally, role-playing games usually give gamers between 50 and 100 hours, especially if we take into account that many titles in the genre make use of open worlds that can be explored.
However, Hogwarts Legacy not only seeks to give the gamer the freedom to explore, but also some good graphics, which can be somewhat demanding for any console.
The Hogwarts Legacy story takes about 20 hours to complete. You can entertain yourself with spells and NPCs or side quests to extend the game time.
The video game has already enabled the servers for those who purchased the Deluxe edition, while those who purchased the other versions will have to wait until February 10. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
