HKEX appoints Patrick Khong as new Chief Data and Analytics Officer


Hong Kong Exchange & Clearing Limited (HKEX) advertisement that Patrick Khong joined the group as Managing Director and Co-Head of Data and Analytics.

Working closely with Andy Shum as Co-Head of Data and Analytics, Khong will help drive HKEX’s data management strategy, oversee the group’s data design and governance, and work on a number of data and analytics technology initiatives.

As a senior member of the HKEX Data and Innovation Lab, you will work closely with Group IT functions, as well as business teams across the organization, supporting the development of data-driven solutions.

Khong joins HKEX from Hang Seng Bank, where he was a managing director focused on data analytics. Previously, he spent seven years at HSBC supporting their data governance and transformation.
