Bayonetta 3 Already on sale. However, the wait for the project to become a reality was longer than is conventional in video game development. Although PlatinumGames mentioned that development was going well, the causes of the extensive development of the game were never revealed, but in a new interview PlatinumGames gives a better idea of what happened in the creation process.
PlatinumGames Lead Creative Hideki Kamiya participated in an interview with Famitsu to speak with Nintendo producer Makot Okazaki about the development of the game.
According to Kamiya, after the fateful cancellation of scaleboundthe studio began work on a proposal to Bayonetta 3, a title that not only the fans wanted to be a reality, but also him. Thus, together with the director Yusuke Miyata and Mari Shimazaki (character designer) they began to shape the story. That same year the first trailer of the game was presented and after which almost 4 years had to pass to see a new trailer again and this makes sense because only that same year its development began.
