The Lebanese party-militia Hezbollah has condemned this Thursday the latest attacks carried out by the Israeli Army against positions of the Yemeni Houthi rebels, which have resulted in almost a dozen deaths, and has indicated that it is a “flagrant violation of the International law”.

Thus, he has accused both Israel and the United States of being behind these bombings, which have hit “civil infrastructure” and have occurred after Israel announced the interception of a missile launched from Yemen and attributed to the insurgency.

In this sense, the Shiite group has indicated that nine Yemenis have died and three others have been injured in an attack against a port and an oil facility in Sana’a, according to information collected by the Al Masira network, which is affiliated with Hezbollah. Among the objectives were also the port of Hodeida.

Hezbollah has accused Israel of “resorting to attacks given the failure to achieve its strategic objectives on all fronts” and has asserted that the Houthi attacks have “exposed the fragility of the military and security system” of the country.

For his part, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has justified the attacks against rebel positions and has assured that these operations are “on behalf of the entire international community” in response to the Houthis’ repeated attacks against civilian targets. in Israel and ships sailing in the Red Sea.
