Health: They rule out that Raphael has suffered a stroke

The doctors treating the singer Raphael, who was hospitalized on Tuesday in Madrid, yesterday they ruled out that he suffered from a ictus and they have agreed to transfer him to another hospital in the capital to continue carrying out tests to determine the cause of the illness.

Emergency services went to the Teatro Príncipe in the capital on Tuesday, where Raphael was recording a Christmas special for the TVE program “La Revuelta”, and transferred him to the Hospital Clínico to treat him for an “apparent cerebrovascular episode”.

“After the first few hours and after carrying out the urgent neurological study, stroke was ruled out as the cause of his hospital admission. However, more tests will be necessary to determine the origin of the process presented,” the medical center stated yesterday in a statement.

In this same text, The hospital adds that “at the request of the patient and his family, he will be transferred to the 12 de Octubre University Hospital, given his history of transplantation to which he was subjected at the aforementioned center and for the continued medical follow-up that will be carried out at said hospital.”.

According to his representative office, the artist “feels well, calm and has a very positive attitude”, although due to medical indications he has suspended all his professional commitments this week, including the concerts on Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st, in the WiZink Center in Madrid.
