The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has reported this Sunday that Israel bombed last May the place in the Gaza Strip where the Palestinian militia was hiding an imprisoned Israeli soldier.
The statement has been immediately denied by Israeli sources quoted by the newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’. A spokesman for the Ezedin al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, explained that one of the militiamen guarding the Israeli soldier died in the attack. Three other militiamen were wounded.
The remains that Hamas has in its possession are those of the soldier Hadar Goldin, who died on August 1, 2014. It also has those of Oron Shaul, also killed in the 2014 Gaza War when he was inside the Palestinian enclave, according to the Israeli version. . Hamas published a video a month ago in which Al Sayed appears connected to a respirator and in which he is assured that he is sick. Al Sayed, an Israeli Bedouin, voluntarily entered the Gaza Strip in 2015. His family has reported that he had mental problems.
