Halo: Combat Evolved came to a Nintendo console thanks to a fan project

Can you imagine playing Halo: Combat Evolved on a Nintendo console? Now it is possible thanks to an interesting fan project. A group of enthusiasts decided to bring Master Chief’s first adventure to the Game Boy Color, and the results are great.

Fans of the franchise used GB Studio to create a demake that is still in development. There is currently a demo available that gives us a look at Pillar of Autumn. Best of all, the title can be enjoyed on a Game Boy Color as such or from a browser.

Demake keepers love Halo: Combat Evolved, so they decided to recreate it to make it known to more players on other systems, all from a new perspective. As of this writing, they have only released the first level of the game, but they plan to keep moving forward and offer even more scenarios to players.
