Guidelines for productive development based on knowledge, biodiversity and agro-industrial added value in Misiones

As part of its regional development strategy, the Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), in support of the Secretariat of Small and Medium Enterprises and Entrepreneurs of the Ministry of Productive Development of Argentina (SEPYME), has promoted productive opportunities in the Argentine provinces based on a multilevel articulation aimed at linking the specificities of each territory with its national industrial policy. The objective of this workshop is to discuss and validate with provincial references, chosen by the Ministry of Agriculture and Production of the Government of the province of Misiones, a matrix of activities with productive potential surveyed in the territory, to incorporate suggestions into the activity strategy and support the consensus of a common agenda for productive transformation in Misiones.

This proposal is carried out within the framework of the project “Productive development and spatial heterogeneity in Latin America: institutions and capacity building in the programming and implementation of regional productive policies”, coordinated by ECLAC, with support and financing from the European Union, and that as part of its activities, since November 2021, it has carried out joint work between SEPYME and the Ministry of Agriculture and Production of the Government of the province of Misiones, from a multilevel articulation modality that allowed the construction of a common agenda of productive activities with development potential in the short, medium and long term.
