Well, after several hours of silence, the London police confirmed the arrest of the alleged hacker. It is not yet known if he was the one who shared the photographs, only the information has been given that it is a 17-year-old boy and maintains the status of a suspect.
The man was placed under arrest on Thursday night and is in police custody, according to the official statement from the citizen security entity.
“On the afternoon of Thursday 22nd September 2022, City of London Police arrested a 17-year-old in Oxfordshire on suspicion of hacking, as part of an investigation supported by the @NCA_ES National Cyber Crimes Unit (NCCU). ”details the publication of the London police on social networks.
As detailed by Reuters, the NCCU refused to share statements about the case on Friday and the police will only remain silent after the statement.
