September 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –
US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has complained that her office has been the target of graffiti accusing her of supporting terrorism following her criticism of Israeli bomb attacks on members of the Lebanese militia party Hezbollah.
“Yesterday my House office was the target of bloody graffiti accusing me of supporting terrorism after I questioned the Pager operation, which is clearly contrary to US policy,” Ocasio-Cortez posted on her X account.
“They must have been living under a rock if they don’t know that I don’t take harassment well,” added the progressive congresswoman, who last Wednesday denounced that this type of attack constitutes “a clear and unequivocal violation of International Humanitarian Law” and that “it undermines the efforts of the United States to prevent an expansion of the conflict.”
“Congress should address the attack and ask the State Department whether there has been any U.S. assistance in developing or deploying this technology,” he said.
In the past week, a wave of explosions involving electronic devices in Lebanon and Syria has killed at least 37 people and injured nearly 3,000 more.
