Gotham Knights will have a comic that will be a prequel and will offer exclusive DLC

Gotham Knights It will debut later this year and Warner Bros. is preparing for it. The company not only had a conventional release planned, but the project will debut along with a prequel in comic form that will also include content for the game.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2022, the convention focused on the universe of comics, animation and more related projects is taking place this weekend and has left a lot of important announcements.

One of them was the reveal of a new comic by Batman that will be related to Gotham Knights.

We are talking about Batman: Gotham Knights – Gilded Citya 6-part comic that will take place in the same universe as Gotham Knights, precisely in Gotham City in 1849, as well as in its modern version. This comic was written by Evan Narcisse and illustrated by artist Abel.

fans of comics Batman or those who are going to play Gotham Knights You won’t want to miss out on this new physical or digital comic, as it will include in-title redeem codes that will offer you DLC you can’t get anywhere else.

Paid subscribers of DC Universe Infinite (not counting the trial period) will have access to this new comic and will also be able to get DLC codes for the game, which they will receive by email after reading each installment. It is important that you take into account that the digital versions of the comic that are sold separately will not include code.

When will it debut and what DLC will it include? Batman: Gotham Knights – Gilded City?

Both the first installment of the comic and the video game will debut on October 25, 2022. The following issues are expected to go on sale in later months. You should know that the deadline to redeem the codes is October 25, 2032.

Each number will offer a valid code for an in-game item and if you register all of them (6 in total) you will be able to get 4 additional outfits, one for each protagonist (Redwing, Robin, Batgirl and Red Hood). So, you can get up to 10 accessories if you get all the comics.

Below we leave you with a list of all the DLC and the release date of each edition.

• Issue 1 (October 25, 2022) — alternate skin for the Batcycle
• Issue 2 (November 22, 2022) — exclusive weapon for Character A
• Issue 3 (December 27, 2022) — exclusive weapon for Character B
• Issue 4 (January 24, 2023) — exclusive weapon for Character C
• Issue 5 (February 28, 2023) — exclusive weapon for Character D
• Issue 6 (March 23, 2023) — exclusive color combination for the outfits of each of the 4 characters

The final alternate costume DLC for each character will automatically unlock starting March 28, 2023 after all 6 codes have been redeemed. No images of the DLC were shared.
