Nov. 8 (Portaltic/EP) –
Google has begun rolling out its Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered tool Google Vids to different levels of Workspace, gradually reaching members of Business Standard and Enterprise Essentials, among others.
Google Vidsintroduced in April of this year, allows companies and users to create videos with a maximum duration of 10 minutes from templates in a collaborative and simple way, that is, just as presentations or documents are generated. To do this, use Google Gemini.
In the case of using templates, it offers the possibility of choosing between specific themes to generate the videos. It also allows you to add content to scenes, including images, stickers, music or audio effects.
The AI, for its part, can voice the generated narrative script with different voices and, once the video has been created, it can be downloaded as an MP4 file or shared with a link to play it on other devices.
The company began testing this application this summer, when it integrated it into Worspace Labs, thus expanding the service catalog of your platform focused on organizations and the workplace.
Google has now begun to deploy this tool in Workspace, so that it will reach its different levels -Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, Essentials, Enterprise Essentials and Enterprise Essential Plus and Education Plus-, as it has advanced 9to5Google.
This portal has indicated that some AI-powered functions of Google Vids, such as ‘Help me create’, the option to generate voice-over, the option to remove backgrounds from images or the reading ‘teleprompter’ will be free until December 31, 2025. In 2026, Google may impose usage limits, providing notice before any changes take effect.
