Google has presented its new Android XR extended reality platform, with which it seeks to support the development of applications based on this technology and powered by artificial intelligence with which to interact through viewers.

This platform has been designed to work on a wide variety of headsets, both extended reality headsets and glasses. In the latter case, Gemini can offer real-time information about the user’s views on the fly, displayed directly in the line of sight, as explained in its official blog.
The ecosystem that it intends to promote already has the support of Qualcomm, which will allow its partners to develop new devices, and Samsung, which has been in charge of creating Project Moohan, which will be the first device based on this platform to reach the market, and which will be available next year.
