Nowadays it is quite common to see millions of images generated by artificial intelligence anywhere on the Internet, especially on social networks, and some are so well made that it is even difficult to discern if they were taken from reality.
Google Photos knows about this challenge, and so that you don’t get into trouble with all the images that you store in the service, they are going to incorporate a label so that you know if that image that you have stored has been generated by a artificial intelligence or not.
As reported from Android Authoritythe latest preview version for Google Photos for Android, shows some code strings that allow you to identify this feature.
It seems that Google Photos would identify these images according to the tags they contain, to know the origin and the AI that created them previously.
When an image is generated using an artificial intelligence model, A specific value is added, and that is what Google Photos could read in the future.
This identification is expected to appear in the details section of the image, so that nothing catches you by surprise.
So we would have to verify the metadata of the image to know its origin in case it was generated by an AI previously.
