Google evicts offices in CDMX due to "potential emergency situation"

Ricardo Zamora, Google’s head of communication, released the news via Twitter where he stressed that the office located at Montes Urales 445 was evacuated as a precautionary measure.

“The safety of our employees is our top priority and we are taking all measures to ensure it. We appreciate the cooperation of the authorities and we will continue to work with them to ensure the safety of our employees and the surrounding community,” Zamora shared.

Subsequently, the CDMX Secretariat for Citizen Security said that personnel from the “Zorros” Task Force went to the scene after receiving an emergency call for an “explosive device” in the facilities.

The authorities consulted the security manager of the building, who said that they had not received any type of call that put the property at risk.

Likewise, they carried out a “meticulous” search inside the place and its surroundings, but they did not find any object that represents a danger.
