When we browse in incognito mode, it is usually because we want to impersonate another computer in an instant or because we want to navigate without leaving a trace of what we are doing. However, there is always the possibility that a third party gains access to our terminal and can get to see what we do in incognito mode.
That is why, as we can read in Android AuthorityGoogle Chrome for Android is getting a new feature, and it’s nothing less than biometric authentication for browser incognito mode. If there is talk about fingerprint sensors, hopefully any other method, such as iris recognition, will work.
Likewise, if we do not use a fingerprint sensor, we can also hide our incognito tabs behind an unlock pin, although this may be less recommended, since although our fingerprints are unique, our unlock pin can be known by someone else.
All this does not happen automatically, but it will be unfolding little by little. the option to activate this additional protection mechanism that we can find in the privacy tab in Chrome settings.
