How to check the air quality on Google Maps?

The index provided by the app works in five levels, the same as those used by the National Meteorological Service, ranging from green to purple, with the first being an indicator of good air quality and the last being extremely bad.

To consult it, you must enter the Google Maps application and select the AQI box, it is located in the upper left, under the search bar.

Google Maps will display a box that shows the temperature and some weather forecast data. At the bottom is the AQI section.

By selecting more AQI details, the app will show the map painted in the color that corresponds to the air quality in the region, when the last update was and what the recommendations are for the population.

Users can also zoom in on the map and explore regions other than the one they currently live or are in.
