Google adds memory saving tools to version 110 of Chrome



One of the classic mockery of most of the industry to Google Chrome is their large memory usage, something they have been working on for a long time to reduce. However, while they are already on par with other browsers that were recently considered lightweight, Google has continued to work on adding memory saving tools to Chrome.

This can be especially useful for users like me, where the number of tabs we acquire in a single day can exceed fifty.thus causing part of the reports of high memory consumption.

That is why, although it may sound alarming that a browser is consuming several GB of RAMin many cases this is caused by an unnecessarily high number of open tabswhich by force, consume all the resources of our equipment, and not only the RAM memory.

The new Google Chrome tools will help us save both RAM and battery, and they will be available in version 110 of Google Chrome by default, suspending all those tabs that we are not using, and limiting the performance of those that have not yet been fully suspendedthus limiting things like animations.
