“I swear to be faithful to the Republic, to loyally comply with the Constitution and the laws, and to exercise my mandate and my functions in the exclusive interest of the nation,” he pronounced before the head of state, in the Roman Festival Hall Quirinal Palace.
Immediately afterwards, Meloni signed the decree of his appointment and shook hands with Mattarella, then standing to his left to preside over the oath of his twenty-four ministers.
