1.- Download the app or go to the SAT ID page
2.- Click on Generate or update your password.
3.- Have your identification document at hand; It can be INE, passport or professional title.
4.- Fill in the contact information section, it will ask for your RFC, full name, an email and a cell phone number.
5.- The SAT will send you a confirmation code to the email you registered and you will have to type it in the SAT application.
6.- Document identification. You have to attach a photo of your INE credential, passport or professional title.
7.- Validate your identity. To verify it, you need to record a video focusing on your face, and during the recording you will have to say a phrase that the system throws at you, such as: “Doing good to villains is pouring water into the sea,” which is a phrase by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra.
You can get another phrase if you have a problem with one that touches you.
8. Validate that the video and audio are clear, click on continue.
9. Save your folio number of the procedure, which will be provided by the system after confirming the submission of your video.
10.- In six business days or less you will get a response from the SAT in your email, indicating whether the application was accepted or not.
11.- It is probable that the SAT will reject an application due to failures such as the audio of the video sent, or that the photograph of the identity document sent is not correctly appreciated.
12.- If your application was approved, make sure you have a pen and paper at hand.
13.- The SAT will send the approval of the application to your email, in this will come the link to a platform to generate your new password. They also send you your Proof of Fiscal Situation.
14.- Once you establish the new password, write it down on a piece of paper, save it, it is necessary to carry out procedures with the SAT electronically such as registration of natural persons or change the regime in which you are, submit declarations.
