This collaboration marks an important milestone in Geely’s expansion into one of Southeast Asia’s largest automotive markets, and also demonstrates the company’s unwavering determination to continually broaden and deepen its global presence.

During the visit, dealers toured Geely’s state-of-the-art R&D center and Qiantang manufacturing plant to learn about the brand’s commitment to technological advancement and quality. One of the highlights of the visit was the opportunity to test drive the Geely EX5, experiencing first-hand the extraordinary performance and quality of this flagship electric SUV, which further reinforced their confidence in collaborating with Geely.

In recent years, Indonesia’s automobile market has seen rapid growth. In this month of September, electric vehicles accounted for 5.8% of total vehicle sales in Indonesia. The Indonesian government has set ambitious targets, aiming for electric vehicle sales to reach 350,000 units and a market share of 32% by 2030. Additionally, the government plans to establish approximately 25,000 charging stations to support this growth.
