Gaza ceasefire agreement presented by Egypt fails

The agreement that Egypt has presented this Friday to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip after the escalation of violence has not been able to prosper, according to sources from the Arabic television channel Al Hadath.

These same sources have affirmed that the negotiations will continue in the next few hours and throughout this Saturday.

The agreement presented by Egypt focused mainly on stopping the attacks by both sides in this area and committing to avoid further harm to civilians.

The attacks in the Gaza Strip have intensified this week and, as reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, since Tuesday when the baptized ‘Operation Shield and Arrow’ began, directed in principle against the Islamic Jihad group, 33 people have died. .

The latest attack was this Friday, in which at least two people were killed and five were injured in the Al Nasser neighborhood, in the vicinity of the capital of the Gaza Strip.
