June 23. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The toll of Palestinians killed as a result of the offensive launched by the Israeli Army against the Gaza Strip after the attacks carried out on October 7 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and other Palestinian factions is about to surpass the barrier of 37,600, as confirmed this Sunday by the Gazan authorities, controlled by the Islamist group.

Specifically, the new balance raises the death toll to 37,598 and also confirms 86,032 injured by the bombings, which have left 47 dead and 121 injured in three attacks against the population of Gaza during the last 24 hours.

This same Sunday, the Gaza authorities have also confirmed new bombings in the center and west of Gaza City, after the attacks this past Saturday against the Al Shati refugee camp, which left around 40 dead, according to the latest updated balance of the bombings, and lowered from the 52 deaths that were initially reported.

The Israeli Army launched its offensive against the Gaza Strip after the aforementioned attacks on October 7, which left some 1,200 dead and 240 kidnapped. Added to these death tolls are more than 550 Palestinians killed in the West Bank and East Jerusalem at the hands of Israeli forces or in attacks by settlers.
