The press office of the Gazan authorities has indicated in a statement published on its Telegram account that the deceased is Maisara Ahmed Salá, who worked for Quds News Network, without giving details about the time and place of the Israeli attack that ended her life. life.
Likewise, it has raised the number of journalists killed since the beginning of the “genocidal war” to 192 and has reiterated its condemnation of the “murders of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation”, which it holds “totally responsible” for these “atrocious crimes”.
For this reason, he has asked the international community to “deter the occupation” and “bring those responsible for these acts before international courts” to “put pressure on it to put an end to the genocide and murder of Palestinian journalists” in the Palestinian enclave. .
Israel launched its offensive against Gaza after the attacks carried out on October 7, 2023 by Hamas and other Palestinian factions, which left about 1,200 dead and about 250 kidnapped. The Gazan authorities have already reported the death of more than 44,400 people, to which are added around 790 Palestinians killed at the hands of Israeli forces and in attacks carried out by settlers since then in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
