Gameplanet bankruptcy reports were “false and biased”
The expected response came 1 week later, when Gameplanet’s general management acknowledged the rumors and the note about its alleged bankruptcy and store closures through an official statement on Facebook, which it described as “biased and absolutely false.”
The company assured that it is “solid and stable” and that, contrary to what the rumors indicated, it is expanding, “opening new branches, remodeling points of sale and generating sources of employment”, as well as “other projects”.
“Finally, we appreciate your trust and support throughout all these years that have made Gameplanet the most important chain of specialized video game stores in Mexico,” the company concluded the message.
