Jan. 17 (Portaltic/EP) –

The Chinese video game studio Game Science has announced that it will delay the launch of its video game Black Myth: Wukong more than a year and plans to publish it in the summer of 2024.

Black Myth: Wukong is an action role-playing game (ARPG) based on the classic 16th century Chinese novel Journey to the West. The Asian company presented this video game for the first time in August 2020, with a 13-minute feature film in which it unveiled some of its characters and the quality of its graphics.

Then also commented that it would come to PC and “all major platforms”, without referring to which, although it is expected that it can be played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.

Now, this independent developer has shared a short film to announce that the launch of this video game is delayed, which would initially be published in 2023 and that it will be delayed until summer 2024.

In this advance, the study has used the figure of a rabbit -since 2023 is the year of this animal in the country, that on January 22 he will celebrate his New Year–, who purchases this game on his computer and has problems installing it.

After that, spends his savings on improving the components from your computer, such as your graphics card, and when you try to install it again, a day counter appears with the date of the next year. Finally, two other characters appear playing and the calendar on that date.

The developer has not specified anything new about this release nor has it confirmed the gaming platforms for which this title will be available.
