Galaxy AI will come to Samsung watches with the next Galaxy Watch

Galaxy AI smart features will also come to Samsung watches with the next range and One UI 6 Watch software update, where it will improve health features.

Samsung has confirmed that its suite of apps powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI), Galaxy AI, will come to the next series of Galaxy Watch watches, due out later in the year.

The functions will be enabled with the One UI 6 Watch software and will help improve health features in the Samsung Health application, as reported in a Press release.

With the combination of Galaxy AI and Samsung Health, the South Korean brand’s watches will offer a holistic view of health data, through ‘Energy Score’, to understand the daily status; and ‘Wellness Tips’, which offers ideas for achieving personal goals.

It also makes the information it offers on sleep quality, heart rate and respiration more precise, and introduces new metrics such as ‘Aerobic Threshold (AT) / Anaerobic Threshold (AnT) of the Heart Rate Zone’, to improve in the race ; and ‘Functional Threshold Power (FTP)’, for training cyclists.

The smart functions will also allow access to the new ‘Workout Routine’, which allows you to create a personalized exercise session by combining several exercises.
