Frontal collision between two vehicles leaves at least 12 dead in Oruro, Bolivia

( Spanish) — A frontal collision that occurred this Friday between a forklift truck and a minibus left at least 12 people dead, the police told the digital outlet Código Policial Oruro.

According to the Police report, 4 injured people were taken to care centers.

The accident occurred on the Oruro-Pisiga highway, in the Chalacollo sector, before reaching Toledo.

Investigations into the event are underway by personnel from the Traffic Accidents Division, reported ABI, Bolivia’s official news agency.
