FROMSOFTWARE, an ELDEN RING company, takes care of its talent and announces a salary increase

While the video game industry in the West is torn between layoffs, cancellations and delays, in Japan the perspective is different and important companies such as Capcom, Nintendo and Bandai Namco understand that certainty and incentives are important for workers and only then can they create great products. In the case of FROMSOFTWARE it is no different and very good news was just announced for its employees.

FromSoftware raises the salary of its workers so that they don’t worry about money and only think about making video games

Through a statement, FROMSOFTWARE, Inc. company responsible for Dark Souls and ELDEN RING announced an increase in the base salary for its workers so that they have peace of mind financially and can dedicate themselves to what they do best: video games. In this regard, the company revealed that this increase will apply to new employees: “as part of our efforts to create a rewarding work environment, FromSoftware will increase the base salary and starting salary for new graduates. We will continue working on game development to provide our users with even more excitement and valuable games.”

Likewise, the company noted that this increase is part of a strategy to achieve stability and create adequate conditions for the development of video games: “we are working to achieve stable income and a rewarding work environment in which our employees can dedicate themselves to development. The increase in the initial salary base is an implementation of this policy.”

This is the second time in recent years that FROMSOFTWARE has taken measures that benefit its workers. The first was a salary increase and the offer of better working conditions to keep the majority of its staff and prevent them from leaving for attractive offers from companies such as Capcom, Bandai Namco or Nintendo since in Japan there is no crisis as such caused by false expectations in renowned companies, except in the case of Square Enix, and the competition is between companies through better job offers.
