The Government of France has announced that it will offer 150 euros per month to families who welcome Ukrainian refugees in their homes, an aid with which they hope to reach between 5,000 and 12,000 households and which the Prime Minister had already advanced, without giving figures. , Elisabeth Borne.

The measure introduces among its criteria that the reception lasts for at least three months and has retroactive effects, from April 1. In principle, it expires on December 31, according to the “precisions” offered this Wednesday by the head of Cities and Housing, Olivier Klein.

The beneficiaries must have managed the reception through the administration or an NGO, in such a way that those who have acted on the sidelines will have to receive some type of prior certification from the local authorities.

“This exceptional financial measure makes it possible to support the spontaneous generosity observed after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, a fundamental link in the management of the crisis and in the reception of displaced people,” Klein said in a statement.
