Fractal Designwell-known manufacturer of PC cases has released two new versions of its models set 7 Y Meshify 2. Specifically the versions Mini and Nano of these two models that we have been able to analyze in our laboratory with very good results and that has reduced its size adapting to much smaller environments.

Define 7 Mini & Nano

The Fractal Design Define 7 Mini has been reduced in size to include plates Mini-ITX and micro-ATX. Although it has smaller measurements, graphics cards of up to 331 mm can be added if we do not install fans on the front. In this Mini version of the Fractal Design Define 7 fit up to 7 x 120mm or 4 x 140mm fans of which 3 are already included. You can install radiators from a maximum 280 mm at the front and 240 mm at the top.

You can also install a maximum of 4 x 2.5” SSD drives. The rest of the features are very similar to its larger version, with 3 filters located at the bottom, top and front, folding front to maximize airflow or 5 USB ports in the front. It also features a large cutout for cable management and sound deadening panels for a quieter environment. Its measurements are 399x205x406 mm.

The Nano version further reduces its size to accommodate plates Mini-ITX and Mini-DTX spaciously. In this case the maximum length of the GPU is 306 mm and no option to install a radiator on top from the box. This smaller model fits a maximum of 5 x 120mm or 3 x 140mm fans of which 2 are already included. The rest of the features are shared with the Mini model. The measurements of the Nano model are 399x205x361 mm.

Both the Fractal Design Mini and Nano are available with and without window tempered glass side.

Meshify 2 Mini and Nano

This model Fractal Design Meshify Mini It also features the iconic Maya front and is capable of accommodating mATX motherboards. The top panel can be easily removed for greater access to the interior and better cable management. This model also has filters on the front, the top and bottom, which also allows the front to be disassembled to install fans more comfortably.

It is capable of accommodating up to 4 2.5” SSD drives and a maximum of 7 x 120mm or 4 x 140mm fans of which 2 are already included. In the Mini version we can also install radiators up to 280 mm in the front or 240 mm at the top. It has a space of 15 to 25 mm for cable management. On the front it has 3 USB ports where one is type C. The measurements of the Mini model are 396x205x406 mm.

The smallest model, the Meshify 2 Nano, it is designed to accommodate Mini ITX boards comfortably, although it also supports mATX and Mini DTX. In this smaller model shares most features with the Nano. The differences are that we cannot install a radiator on the top of the box and it supports a maximum of 5 x 120mm or 3 x 140mm fansof which 2 are already included.

The rest of the characteristics are similar since only the height has been reduced a little to 396x205x361 mm.

The Fractal Design Meshify 2 Mini and Nano are available with a black or white tempered glass side window.
