Fractal Design has launched the range of Pop Series boxes which includes 6 models adapted to all needs. The models that we find in this range are:
- Pop Air
- Pop Mini Air
- Pop Mini Silent
- Silent Pop
- Pop XL Air
- Pop XL Silent
The complete range has all sizes, from boxes with reduced space up to large XL towers. Most of them are available in white or black colors and optional transparent side window, although the Pop Air model has other more vivid colors such as magenta, orange or cyan to create unique configurations.
All models feature a USB 3.0 connection on the front, a combined headphone and microphone jack, and a button to control RGB lighting on compatible models.
Let’s see the characteristics of each.
Fractal Design Pop Air with 6 interior colors and RGB lighting
The new Fractal Design Pop Air It has a mesh design on the front for better air circulation. The version without RGB is available without a window in black and with a window in black and white. In the model with RGB and glass side we find up to 6 interior colors, white, black, cyan, magenta, orange and green. Includes 3 fans, with or without RGB depending on the version chosen, out of a total of 5 that can be installed.
You can install radiators for AIO or custom liquid cooling from a maximum of 280mm at the front or 240 mm at the top. You will also have room for the cables with 19 mm in the rear. In this Fractal Design Pop Air you can add sources of up to 170mm, 405mm graphics and a 170mm high heatsink.
The Pop Mini Air model reduces the size of the Pop Air
Is Fractal Design Pop Mini Air It is available with a glass window and RGB lighting in black and white. This model is similar to the previous one, but with a small size which also limits the installation of some components. Accepts only plates Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX with 150mm fonts, graphics up to 365mm and a 170mm high heatsink. can be installed up to 5 fans of 120 mm of which 3 are already included.
On this Pop Mini Air model, the liquid cooling radiator may not exceed 240 mmalthough you will have 19 mm for cable management on the back of the box.
The Fractal Pop Mini Silent focuses on noise reduction
Is Fractal Design Pop Mini Silent is a box centered on reduce noise inside the PC thanks to a closed front, top and side design. This model is available with or without a window and without RGB lighting. Have a mini size similar to the Pop Mini Air where you can add Mini ITX or Micro ATX boards. This model supports a total of 3 fans of which 2 already come pre-installedyou can also add a radiator of up to 240 mm.
For the font, graphics and heatsink height you can add up to 150mm, 340mm and 170mm respectively. But don’t worry about cables, like the other models it has 19mm on the back for cable management.
Fractal Design Pop Silent increases in size without increasing noise level
This Fractal Design Pop Silent model, similar to the previous one, increases its size to include ATX boards, fonts up to 170mm, 380mm graphics and heatsinks with a maximum height of 170mm. You can also install a maximum of 7 fans of which 3 are already included, like the mini version, this model does not have RGB lighting. As for the radiator for RL, you can put a 280 mm one in the front of the box.
For those who demand more space there is the Fractal Design Pop XL Air
Leaving aside the semi-tower and mini-tower sizes, the Fractal Design Pop XL Air count with one Big space inside. Supports the largest plate models along with larger font sizes up to 205mm, 455mm graphics with mounted fans and heatsinks up to 185 mm high.
It also increases the number of fans that can be added up to 6 of 120mm (4 already included) or 5 of 140mm. In this model you can add 360mm radiators at the front or 280 mm at the top. Is available in white or black color with tempered glass on the side, but without RGB lighting.
Fractal Design Pop XL Silent reduces noise while offering plenty of room
This model increases the size of the Pop Silent even more to house the largest plates. Like the Pop XL Air, it can include the larger components and a total of up to 6 fans along with larger sources, graphics and heatsinks. All this without giving up a low noise level thanks to its closed design with or without tempered glass on the side.
