June 1 (EUROPA PRESS) –

Four soldiers have been killed in a bomb attack in Bannu, northeastern Pakistan. In addition, two alleged “terrorists” have been killed and two more have been injured in a military operation against the city of Peshawar, in northern Pakistan.

The explosion occurred on Friday. The device was detonated when a Security Forces vehicle passed by and caused the death of four soldiers and injuries to three others, according to military sources cited by the Pakistani newspaper ‘Dawn’. The injured were taken to the Combined Military Hospital.

On the other hand, the militants killed near Peshawar would be a leader, Ayaz, alias ‘Muhamad’, and Ahmedei, alias ‘Kuchi’ during the operation, which took place last Thursday. Weapons, ammunition and explosives have been seized there.

In that same area on the outskirts of Peshawar, two other soldiers died on May 26 in an action by insurgent militias, the Pakistani Armed Forces recall in an official statement.
