Among the victims is a Hamas official from the north of the Palestinian enclave

on Sunday as a result of a bombardment carried out by the Israeli army against the Yabalia refugee camp in the north of the Gaza Strip.
The victims died at Kamal Adwan Hospital, where they were taken after the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) shelled a house in the Alami area of the camp, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
The pan-Arab Al Jazeera channel has identified one of the dead as Abu Al-Abd Morsi, an officer of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) who served as deputy head of Civil Defense in the north of the Strip. Meanwhile, the newspaper ‘Filastín’, linked to the Palestinian militia, has confirmed that the rest of the dead were relatives of Morsi.
The Israeli armed forces have also fired shells at the southern Nuseirat area in the centre of the Palestinian enclave.
Authorities in the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have estimated on Saturday that more than 40,900 Palestinians have been killed and more than 94,600 wounded by Israel’s military offensive against the enclave, launched after the attacks carried out on October 7 by the Islamist group and other Palestinian factions.
