At least four people have been killed and eight others injured in a Russian airstrike on the town of Kurajovo in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine, authorities said.
“The occupation attack on the centre of Kurakhov has left four people dead and eight more injured. An investigation has been launched,” the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office posted on its Telegram account.
The message specifies that Russian forces used “artillery and MLRS Uragan shells against the civilian population.” The shells and shells hit a residential building. “Three civilians died on the spot and a fourth person died in a hospital while receiving emergency treatment,” the prosecutor’s office said. The injured are five women and three men with injuries of varying severity caused by shrapnel.
Meanwhile, a new report has raised the number of people injured in the Russian attack with at least ten missiles last Saturday in the Kharkov region to 41, including five minors. At least nine people died in this attack.
