The main novelty of Hot Wheels is Hot Wheels Park and its new biomes, “from the rocky Giant’s Canyon, the frozen tundra that drips in the molten lava in the Ice Cauldron, to the treetops that rise above the waterfalls in Forest Falls,” details Playground Games. It is a set of zones located under the Horizon Nexus, where the Horizon Festival is suspended between the interconnected tracks of Hot Wheels. We’re talking 130 miles of Hot Wheels tracks, some of which defy gravity while others have Speed Boost for an instant acceleration boost.
Other novelties are the Hot Wheels Academy, which presents a new progression system divided into five levels with rewards, events and missions associated with each one of them, and the Hot Wheels: A History of Speed campaign, which has five chapters that will allow walk through the history of Hot Wheels. Also, in the EventLab comes the Hot Wheels creation kit with more than 80 pieces of tracks and stunts that can be joined, while in the accessibility section features such as new FOV options, previously unreleased on console, are introduced. This option will not apply when driving through Mexico.
Lastly, we have a list of 9 cars included as part of the Hot Wheels content. They are the following:
