Fortnite: how to use the new emote that many consider an unfair advantage

Much is said about Pay-To-Win in video games, that is, items that are paid for and offer a considerable advantage in the game. In the case of Fortnite, developers try to avoid these things; however, they are not perfect and a free emote has been sneaked in that gives them a certain advantage in competitive games.

The youtuber GKI, known in the community of Fortnite For his content dedicated to discovering flaws in the platform, he shared a video in which he discovers what is the new emote of Chapter 3 of Season 3 that offers a certain advantage when facing an opponent at medium distance.

This is the Dip Emote and consists of the player lying on the floor for several seconds. Players cannot currently prone or crawl. Fortnite it’s designed for loopers to jump, duck, and slide, but nothing like laying flat on the ground completely.

In the images shared by GKI we see how the Dip Emote is used to avoid the opponent’s shots when a space is opened in the wall. Lying flat on the ground is a move the devs didn’t add to Fortnite, so the emote breaks this logic if only for a few seconds. If you apply the gesture at the right time, you will have a small advantage.

There is no statement from Epic Games if they will withdraw the emote, because it is a movement that escapes the dynamics of Fortnite. For now, you can get it for free and play a few games to fool your rivals in the most intense combats.
