Fortnite: how to request a creator code to earn money with Epic Games

How big of a fan are you? Fortnite? If you want to change your plans from being a passive player to becoming an official Epic Games creator, there is a whole selection process that you should learn for your future within the platform. Here we tell you what the process consists of so that you have your own creator code in Fortnite.

You must first make Epic Games finds out about your project to enter the “Support a Creator” program. No matter the region or language. You only have to meet the following conditions:

  • Have at least 1,000 followers on at least one major social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, Twitter, YouTube, and VK
  • Accept the Affiliate Agreement and abide by the Code of Conduct for Creators
  • Being able to receive payments through a payment method supported by Epic (Hyperwallet)
  • to be 18 years old or more
  • Use any social media profile no more than once. This means that a social media profile can only be featured on one creator account.

FORTNITE | How to change the creator code

You can change your creator code without contacting Player Support thanks to the Support a Creator tools, which can be found on Epic’s account management page (from the developer’s official website – ). Click Profile in the top right corner; then select Account; Finally, select the Support a Creator tab. There you will find the necessary instructions to enter the desired creator code and check that it is available. If it meets all the indicated requirements and is available, you can get it.

Requested creator codes must meet the following requirements:

  • Have between 3 and 16 characters.
  • Have only alphanumeric characters, underscore (_), hyphen (-), or period (.).
  • Not be composed only of repetitive characters (AAA, BBB, etc.).
  • Mirror the screen name or alias on social networks.
  • Comply with the Epic Games Community Rules.
