Epic Games always has new content to introduce to Fortnite. The Battle Royale received the Wild or Wild patch a few weeks ago, where the center of the island sank and a jungle full of ancient ruins appeared. Well, precisely, following the theme, the developer company has taken the opportunity to introduce an element that many imagined would eventually arrive.
If you have deployed in this area, you know that there is a high chance of finding a weapon with a thermal scope, this means that you can spot your enemies even though they are hidden in the brush. The only way to escape enemy sights was to cover yourself in mud.
But in the 25.10 patch that went live on June 20, the Camouflage Gauntlets were finally added, which have a mythic rarity and allow players to blend in in combat. This way, you can sneak between enemy lines or save your life in case you are low on HP.
Where to find the Camouflage Gauntlets?
Not having the mobility tools, Epic Games added different weapons, such as the sniper with a thermal scope or the boomerang. Added to the list of mythical items are the Camouflage Gauntlets that are found randomly throughout the island, either in loose loot or in chests.
How do they work?
By having them in the inventory, it will be necessary to select them and left click (the one to shoot). Immediately, the invisibility process will begin, which will last for a limited time. Note that the duration will increase if you find some gold or purple gloves.
When the time has passed, the gloves will need to be recharged before they can be used again. Also, you must take into account that you cannot change weapons while you are invisible, since the effect will be canceled and you will be exposed in the middle of the combat scenario.
How to get the Camouflage Gauntlets from Relik the Wild Guard?
If you thought this was it, then Fortnite always has an ace up its sleeve. The purple version of the gauntlet is the most common in-game, but there is a gold version that goes by the name Relik the Wildguard’s Camouflage Gauntlets.
As you can imagine, you will have to kill a boss in order to get them. It is located in a populated settlement, but we warn you that it is a rather dangerous area. Not exactly because of the dinosaurs out there, but because a lot of players will be looking to spawn in the area.
