Fortnite announces Black Adam (Dwayne Johnson) as a playable character

On October 20, 2022, DC will release in theaters Black Adam, a film that complements his superhero cinematic universe. As expected, the company not only promotes on social networks, but the main character will make the leap to the video game Fortnite.

Before the announcement on actor Dwayne Johnson’s social networks, several datminers had already leaked the teaser of the character’s appearance in the Battle Royale. Like others, it will also have a whole set of equipment that you can buy in the store.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Johnson has appeared in the video game. In a season change event, he was the one who accompanied the gamers in their escape from the island, before the queen of the cube took control of the stage.

Black Adam will be available in the Fortnite Battle Royale store on October 20. As you can see in the following video, he will have a backpack with the character’s three characteristic triangles; in turn, his special pickaxe will be a spiked club.

Tune in TOMORROW for the live stream of the WORLD PREMIERE of #BlackAdam on Twitch at 6:30pm.” details the actor on his Twitter.

Official Synopsis for “Black Adam”

Black Adam vs. Superman

The DC universe does not abandon, for now, the Superman project. Recently, actor Dwayne Johnson spoke about a possible fight between Black Adam and the Man of Steel.

“There’s the third act. The [Black Adam] it is the most powerful and unstoppable force on this planet. On THIS planet,” he detailed in a TikTok video. Of course, it was a reference to there being more powerful characters off planet.

What is not known is if Henry Cavill will play Superman again.
