March 20 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday demanded the immediate release of members of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) party.
“Fascism reaches unprecedented levels with the Islamabad Police raiding homes without a warrant to kidnap PTI workers,” denounced the former head of government through his profile on the social network Twitter.
In this sense, Jan has denounced that, when these raids take place and the members of the PTI are not at home, the authorities “kidnap children up to ten years old.”
“We demand the immediate release of all our workers and their kidnapped children,” claimed the former prime minister, after days of clashes between his supporters and the security forces after the arrest warrant for Jan, as well as the registration of his home.
In the Toshakhana process, Jan has been accused of concealing in his declarations of assets details about some of the gifts he received during his time as prime minister between 2018 and 2022, when he was dismissed through a motion of no confidence in Parliament, in the beginning of a merciless battle between the former prime minister and the authorities that now govern the country.
