Former Nintendo Worker Opens Up About Firing; he says he was a victim of " anti-union tactics"

It was earlier this year that a laid-off Nintendo of America worker filed a complaint against the company and his recruiting firm Aston Carter, alleging “concerted activities” and “coercive actions.” Several months have passed since then, and now this person has revealed his identity and offered more details about his dismissal.

According to information shared by Axios In an exclusive interview, the former Nintendo employee is game tester Mackenzie Clifton, who was fired from his contractual position in February of this year.

The official data from Nintendo is that the dismissal was due to the disclosure of confidential information, giving as evidence a tweet that Clifton made where he would have talked about a game he was testing.

However, Clifton believes that this is not the real reason for his dismissal, and claims that it is something more, since at the beginning of the year an online question and answer meeting was held for hundreds of Nintendo testers where they asked the following: To Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser:

However, it seems that the question was not answered directly, and Clifton said that the workers were contacted later that day by Aston Carter to recommend that they direct such questions to the firm and not to Nintendo, for which he affirms that they “were victims of anti-union tactics designed to nullify discussion of the issue.”
