( Spanish) – The Foreign Minister of Venezuela, Yván Gil, said that the Secretary of State of the United States, Antony Blinken, is a “confessed enemy of Venezuela” and called the opposition leader, Edmundo González, “a Guaidó 2.0” after the Government of The US recognized him as the elected president of Venezuela.
In a message broadcast on his Telegram account this Tuesday, Gil said that Blinken “should dedicate himself to reflecting on his failures, getting rid of imperial and colonial complexes and going to write the memoirs of how the Bolivarian Revolution made him bite the dust of the defeat”.
is trying to contact the US State Department for a reaction to what Gil said.
On Tuesday, González thanked the recognition and assured that “this gesture honors the desire for change of our people and the civic feat that together we carried out on July 28.”
