Almost two weeks ago, the Colombian Ministry of Transport had assured that five companies were authorized to operate; three from Colombia (Avianca, Wingo and Satena) and two from Venezuela (Laser and Conviasa).
Five years ago, the Colombian airline Avianca announced the suspension of flights between Venezuela and Colombia.
The Colombian ambassador had already announced in September that the Venezuelan airline Turpial Airlines had received authorization from the Colombian authorities to fly.
