Five prisoners have escaped from a prison near Lisbon using a ladder to get over the wall

The Directorate has stated that the escapees are Fernando Ribeiro Ferreira (61 years old), Rodolfo Jose Lohrmann (59), Mark Cameron Roscaleer (39), Fábio Fernandes Santos Loureiro (40) and Shergili Farjiani (33).

They are serving sentences for crimes such as drug traffickingcriminal association, money laundering, robbery, kidnapping, extortion and abduction, among others.

According to local media, they are Two inmates of Portuguese nationalitya Argentineana Georgian and a British.

The Vale de Judeus prison houses mostly inmates serving long-term sentences, with a “very significant number” of foreign prisoners, according to the DGRSP.
