( Spanish) – Five people were injured after a car fell this Wednesday from a second floor into a supermarket in Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic, reported doctors who attended the emergency.
The images of the incident were captured on the security cameras of the shopping plaza, where around 1:00 in the afternoon local time, customers and employees were observed talking in the lobby area of the establishment when the driver of the vehicle reversed and falls from the second level parking lot.

Five people, including the driver, were taken to medical care centers in Santo Domingo, medical representatives from the Darío Contreras Traumatological hospitals, where they treated passers-by, and the Corazones Unidos Clinic, where the driver was treated, confirmed to .
“The vehicle crashed and I didn’t hear from me again,” said Ingrid Melo, who was at the scene at the time of the car crash.
Like Melo, three young people between 18 and 21 years old were injured.
Dr. Pedro Mari, from the Darío Contreras Traumatological Hospital, declared that the three young people suffered lacerations from glass.
“It was a miracle from God, it was a little thread that God saved me,” Melo added.
