Three women and a man have died and 16 more people have been injured this Saturday by the impact of projectiles launched by the Ukrainian forces on the Russian region of Belgorod, as denounced by the regional governor, Viacheslav Gladkov.

The Russian person in charge has denounced a total of 547 impacts of Ukrainian projectiles on Belgorod during the day on Saturday. Two other women have died on a road near the town of Maslova Pristan when a shell hit their car. By the time the medical personnel arrived, both of them had already died.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Russian mercenary group Wagner, Yevgeni Prigozhin, has warned that he could intervene in the area. “We will not wait for an invitation” to “protect” Belgorod if the forces of the Russian Defense Ministry do not confront the “lawlessness”.
